Single Sign-On (SSO)
Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication feature that allows users to access multiple applications with one set of login credentials. If you are an enterprise organisation with access to SSO, you can require your team to log in to Zitcha using their SSO credentials.
How it works
SSO is an optional integration for organisations (retailers, suppliers, etc.) that can be configured once they are onboarded with Zitcha.
SSO means that your team members will not log in with their Zitcha password, but will instead be directed to your company identity provider to authenticate. This ensures that only active employees from your team can access your Zitcha account. It also allows you to enforce your own password policy, and multi-factor enrolment rules.
Once integrated, your team will continue to access Zitcha from the zitcha application, however, when they provide their email address and click 'Next', Zitcha will identify whether SSO is required for their account to be authenticated and will route them to your company's identity provider for authentication. Upon successful authentication, users will be sent back to Zitcha with permission to access the platform.
Once a user is authenticated using your organisation identity provider, their Zitcha Roles & Teams will control access to products, resources and feature permissions.
